Sweetgrass

This sweet little cowl is such a quick knit and makes a perfect last-minute gift. It’s knit in the round, from the bottom up, with a lovely—and easy—cable and lace motif. Beginners shouldn’t be afraid to give this one a try.

MATERIALS
You will need approx. 285 yards of fingerling weight wool yarn; US 4/ 3.5 mm circular needles (16”); stitch markers; waste yarn; tapestry needle; blocking tools, two cable needles

GAUGE
36 stitches and 32 rounds = 5" in cable and lace pattern

FINISHED SIZE
Circumference: 21”; Length: 10.25” after moderate blocking
