Girasole Shawl

Sure to be a family heirloom, Girasole will be a gorgeous demonstration of your knitting skills. This pattern is not necessarily for beginners, but intermediate and advanced knitters can cast on with confidence.

MATERIALS
For the blanket version you will need: 12 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter; US 9/ 5.5 mm circular needles (32”), US 9/ 5.5 dpns or the size needed to obtain gauge; For the shawl version you will need: 10 skeins of Jamieson Spindrift; US 6/ 4 mm circular needles (32”), US 6/ 4 mm dpns or in the size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE
Blanket Version: 4 sts = 1" in unblocked st st; Shawl Version: 6 sts = 1" in unblocked st st

Blanket Version: 72" diameter after blocking
Shawl Version: 51" diameter after blocking
